What is the minimum monthly service fee for residential customers?
The minimum fee is $20 for 4,000 gallons of water and $40 for 6,000 gallons of sewer.
Am I allowed to use my well instead of the public water system?
No. The District's ordinance requires that all residents, who established service at one point, remain on the system and pay the 'minimum' monthly service fee.
Why is there a minimum monthly payment?
The District is required by law to establish rates that will meet the organization's operating and debt service needs. The minimum monthly rate is what each customer must pay to meet our operating and debt service costs.
Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes! Please download the ACH form and send it to the office.
How does recurring payments work?
Our system will draft your bank account on the 15th of the month (or the Monday after if on a weekend). There are no 'add-on' fees with the ACH draft.
Why does the District charge for using credit cards?
Our website and credit card services are provided at no cost to the District. In order for the providers to recover their costs; fees are charged direct to the customer. This helps keep our costs down, and your fees low!
What is the eCheck payment option?
The eCheck payment has the lowest add-on fees. Each payment is a flat rate of $2.25. This is a great option if you're paying reconnect or installation fees!
What is the fee for using a credit card?
The online fee is $2.00 + 2.2% (equals $3.32 for a $60 bill). The fee at the customer window is $3.50.
When are your Board meetings?
The Board of Commissioners meet on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 4 pm. Please be on time because public comments are taken at the beginning of the meeting.
Do I need to sign up to address the Board?
Yes. To ensure you have adequate speaking time, please complete a 'Request to Address the Board' form and fax it to our office. If you're not on the Agenda, you will be allowed to speak, but your time will be limited.
My bill is higher than normal! Who can I talk to!?
If you have a leak, or your bill is unusually high, please contact the office immediately so we can help determine the cause. Adjustments to your bill must be presented to the Board for approval.
