11/8/2024 - Customer Notice

12/26/2024 - Notice to Customers of Oak Harbor

1/2/2025 - The interconnection between Oak Harbor and the Pearlington Water Distribution system has been completed. The Oak Harbor well is being shut down. 

1/29/2025 - The first smoke test of the Oak Harbor system has been completed. Several leaks were identified. A plan is being formulated to address the known leaks.

6/18/2025 - NOTICE OF RATE INCREASE. The Board of Commissioners of the Pearlington Water and Sewer District authorized a public hearing to discuss and approve a rate increase for the Oak Harbor Subdivision. The change will increase water rates to a minimum of $30 per month and sewer rates to a minimum of $50 per month, which brings Oak Harbor in alignment with District rates. The Board will hold a public hearing on July 16, 2025 at 3:00 pm where the public will have three minutes per request to address the Board.

8/20/2025 - The Board voted to change the regular meeting time to 4 pm starting October 15, 2025. 

10/22/2025 - The Board approved a 2nd Public Hearing to discuss the Oak Harbor rates. All residents of Oak Harbor will be subject to District Rates as Approved by the Board in October 2024. The Board will finalize the implementation date in the meeting on November 19, 2025 at 4 pm. 

10/30/2025 - Engineer update: Installation of water meters in Oak Harbor is nearing completion.  The remaining areas where meters remain to be installed are in the Tampa Drive North and Dennies Drive areas.  All water meters are expected to be installed by mid-November.
